A RESOLUTION

Congratulating Sadie G. Mays Health and Rehab Center; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Sadie G. Mays Health and Rehab Center was recently named a winner of the 2001 National Quality Award by the American Health Care Association, one of only 38 such centers in the country to receive such a signal and prestigious honor; and

WHEREAS, under the guiding stewardship of Charles Robinson, Jr., and the hard work ethic demonstrated daily by the dedicated employees of the center, this outstanding organization has continued its growth from its humble beginnings to become one of the leading nursing facilities in the nation; and

WHEREAS, this remarkable corporate citizen has established and maintained a glowing reputation of renown throughout the United States for its ability to accommodate changes in the long-term care industry, and continues to meet the needs of its residents with kindness, compassion, and state-of-the-art care; and

WHEREAS, it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this amazing health care institution be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate Sadie G. Mays Health and Rehab Center on the occasion of its being named a winner of the 2001 National Quality Award, commend it for its many outstanding contributions on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, and extend to it their best wishes for continued growth, development, and success in the future.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Charles Robinson, Jr., administrator of Sadie G. Mays Health and Rehab Center.
