A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend Code Section 15-16-21 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to fees for sheriff´s services, so as to increase the fee for serving copy of process and returning original; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.

Code Section 15-16-21 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to fees for sheriff´s services, is amended by striking in its entirety paragraph (1) of subsection (b) and inserting in lieu thereof a new paragraph (1) to read as follows:
"(1) Serving copy of process and returning original, per copy $ 25.00 35.00"

SECTION 2.

All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
