WHEREAS, this outstanding program has provided many unique opportunities for the students including designing a fascinating and useful experiment dealing with the metamorphosis of a butterfly under the zero gravity conditions of deep space in conjunction with the SpaceHab Science Technology and Research Students Program (S*T*A*R*S) in Houston, Texas, which is now in the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., and the construction of solar powered vehicles; and

WHEREAS, the lessons learned through these exciting and successful programs are helping students with disabilities to understand that with hard work they can achieve great things; and

WHEREAS, the successes of the program would not be possible without the dedication of the students and the commitment of the excellent teachers in this program.
