Commending Joseph Robertson; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Joseph Robertson was nominated by Hardaway High School as Muscogee County Teacher of the Year in recognition of his special talent as a classroom teacher; and

WHEREAS, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional ability, enthusiasm, and understanding to his students and provided encouragement in their efforts to learn; and

WHEREAS, he has assisted his fellow teachers and has eagerly sought improvements in the resources for teachers that promote student understanding and creativity; and

WHEREAS, throughout his years of teaching he has shown a deep commitment to the profession and an abiding concern for the welfare and personal development of students.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body commends Joseph Robertson on being nominated by his school as Muscogee County Teacher of the Year and expresses its congratulations and appreciation.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Joseph Robertson.
