Commending Rhonda Lloyd; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Rhonda Lloyd was nominated by Kendrick High School as Muscogee County Teacher of the Year in recognition of her special talent as a classroom teacher; and

WHEREAS, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional ability, enthusiasm, and understanding to her students and provided encouragement in their efforts to learn; and

WHEREAS, she has assisted her fellow teachers and has eagerly sought improvements in the resources for teachers that promote student understanding and creativity; and

WHEREAS, throughout her years of teaching she has shown a deep commitment to the profession and an abiding concern for the welfare and personal development of students.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body commends Rhonda Lloyd on being nominated by her school as Muscogee County Teacher of the Year and expresses its congratulations and appreciation.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Rhonda Lloyd.
