A BILL TO BE
ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To amend Article 2 of Chapter 3 of Title 3 of the Official
Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to prohibited acts relative to the sale of
alcoholic beverages, so as to prohibit the sale of single containers of malt
beverage at any licensed retail establishment where motor fuel is also offered
for sale at retail; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
GEORGIA:
SECTION 1.
Article 2 of Chapter 3 of Title 3 of the Official Code of
Georgia Annotated, relating to prohibited acts relative to the sale of alcoholic
beverages, is amended by inserting at the end thereof a new Code Section 3_3_33
to read as
follows:
"3_3_33.
It shall be unlawful for a licensed retail dealer to sell any single container of malt beverage if the site on which the licensed retail establishment is located provides for the retail sale of motor fuel."

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
repealed.
