A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

To amend an Act providing a new charter for the City of Dudley, Georgia, in the County of Laurens, approved February 18, 1977 (Ga. L. 1977, p. 2657), as amended, so as to annex certain territory into the City of Dudley and thereby change the corporate limits of such city; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

SECTION 1.
An Act providing a new charter for the City of Dudley, Georgia, in the County of Laurens, approved February 18, 1977 (Ga. L. 1977, p. 2657), as amended, is amended by adding at the end of Section 1.11 a new subsection (c) to read as follows:
"(c) The corporate limits of the City of Dudley shall also include the following described tract of land:
All that portion of Georgia State Route 19, and Federal Route U.S. 80, beginning at the existing city limit on the east side of the intersection of Georgia State Route 19, and Federal Route U.S. 80 with Georgia State Route 338; said city limit being approximately 2,624.72 feet from said intersection. Then extending in a southeasterly direction approximately 5,525.28 feet for the uniform width of the right of way for State Route 19, and Federal Route U.S. 80 to its intersection with the west end of Turkey Creek Bridge. Said section of roadway lying and being in Land Lots 226,251, 252, and 348 of the 18th and 22nd Land Districts of Laurens County, Georgia.
All that portion of Georgia State Route 19, and Federal Route U.S. 80, beginning at the existing city limit on the west side of the intersection of Georgia State Route 19, and Federal Route U.S. 80 with Georgia State Route 338; said city limit being approximately 5, 171.59 feet from said intersection. Then extending in a northwesterly direction approximately 5,312.20 feet for the uniform width of the right of way for State Route 19, and Federal Route U.S. 80 to an iron pin at the property corner of Gilman Paper Company with said right of way. Said section of roadway lying and being in Land Lots 318, 343, 344, 347 and 346 of the 18th and 22nd Land Districts of Laurens County, Georgia."

SECTION 2.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
