A BILL TO BE
ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To amend Part 6 of Article 4 of Chapter 5 of Title 12 of the
Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to coastal management, so as to
reestablish or continue such provisions until July 1, 2009; to provide an
effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other
purposes.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
GEORGIA:
SECTION 1.
Part 6 of Article 4 of Chapter 5 of Title 12 of the Official
Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to coastal management, is amended by
striking Code Section 12-5-329, relating to the repeal of Part 6 of Article 4 of
Chapter 5 of Title 12, the "Georgia Coastal Management Act," and inserting in
its place a new Code Section 12-5-329 to read as
follows:
"12-5-329.
Unless reestablished or continued by the General Assembly, this part shall stand repealed in its entirety on July 1,2004
2009."

SECTION 2.
This Act shall become effective upon its approval by the
Governor or upon its becoming law without such approval.
SECTION 3.
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
repealed.
