A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending Lanier County Elementary School;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, Lanier County Elementary School has received the prestigious Exemplary Reading Program Award for Georgia; and
WHEREAS, the Exemplary Reading Program Award is sponsored by the International Reading Association to recognize outstanding reading and language arts programs at all grade levels and to bring public attention to outstanding programs in schools throughout North America; and
WHEREAS, this superlative elementary school has maintained a proud tradition of excellence in reading and language arts programs through the outstanding efforts of the dedicated and hard-working administration, faculty, and staff and the bright, focused, and determined students; and
WHEREAS, by its example, Lanier County Elementary School has set a standard of achievement and serves as a model of excellence and success for other schools to emulate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and commend Lanier County Elementary School for being the recipient of the Exemplary Reading Program Award for Georgia, and extend their best wishes for continued success and excellence.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the principal of Lanier County Elementary School.
