A RESOLUTION

Declaring Cobb County Day at the Capitol; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Cobb County economy plays a key role in the overall economic stability of the state; and

WHEREAS, the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce is recognized as a leader in bringing together the elected, civic, business, and educational leaders to resolve challenges and meet needs; and

WHEREAS, Cobb County and its chamber of commerce are committed to supporting state and regional issues for the betterment of all Georgians; and

WHEREAS, on February 14, 2003, many representatives of Cobb County and the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce will be at the capitol on that date.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body declare February 14, 2003, as Cobb County Day at the Capitol.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit appropriate copies of this resolution to the governing authority of Cobb County and to the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce.
