House Resolution
1728 By: Representatives Parrish of the
102nd, Buck of the 112th, Coleman of the 118th,
Channell of the 77th, and Powell of the 23rd
A RESOLUTION
Commending Georgia State Patrol Trooper First Class Jeff
Teasley and recognizing his service to Georgia and its capitol; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, Georgia State Patrol Trooper
First Class Jeff Teasley has dutifully served this state for over three years;
and
WHEREAS, the nature of his law enforcement
duties and services are invaluable to this state and the conduct of its daily
business affairs and to the protection and safety of
Georgia´s
elected officials, capitol staff persons, government employees, and the general
public; and
WHEREAS, in serving the residents of
this state, Trooper First Class Jeff Teasley places his personal health and
safety at risk every day ensuring that order and the general welfare of the
public are maintained; and
WHEREAS, for his
willingness to serve the public safety and welfare of this state, its people,
and its leaders it is both fitting and proper that Trooper First Class Jeff
Teasley be appropriately and duly honored for his work and personal sacrifice
for the sake of others.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend
Georgia State Patrol Trooper First Class Jeff Teasley and recognize his
invaluable service to the State of Georgia and preserving the welfare of its
citizens and all who work and visit this
state´s
capitol.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of
the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
appropriate copy of this resolution to Georgia State Patrol Trooper First Class
Jeff Teasley.
