A RESOLUTION

Recognizing that plasma arc is a technology that represents renewable energy production in the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of Georgia to have access to the most effective and efficient methods of waste management and energy production; and

WHEREAS, it is important to recognize that renewable forms and sources of energy can supplement the existing natural resources of our state; and

WHEREAS, the technology exists to generate electric power from these renewable sources; and

WHEREAS, the technology called "plasma arc" is a known and viable instrument in the destruction of waste to produce renewable energy; and

WHEREAS, the use of plasma arc to destroy waste and produce electricity represents a significant and clear application of a renewable power supply for the citizens of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, the destruction of waste and power generation from renewable sources using plasma arc is important to managed community development throughout Georgia.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that plasma arc is recognized as a technology that represents renewable energy production in the State of Georgia.
