A RESOLUTION
Honoring and commending the Dawson County High School
wrestling team; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the Dawson County High School wrestling team finished its season by winning the 2003-2004 Class AA State Championship; and
WHEREAS, the school´s second state championship in the past three seasons, Dawson County High School is on its way to cementing its reputation as the preeminent power in Class AA wrestling; and
WHEREAS, under the shining leadership and direction of first year Coach Arron Haynes, Dawson County High School wrestling team members Adam Kimbrell, Thomas Kimbrell, Chris Lower, Zach Martin, Noel Poisson, Donald Roberts, Chris Dearwent, Beau Corkill, J.B. Brock, Andy Myers, Matt Dearwent, and Lance Walls are building a dynasty based on hard work, discipline, and a commitment to excellence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body honor and commend the Dawson County High School wrestling team and Coach Haynes on their tremendous success and outstanding accomplishments over the past season and its 2003-2004 Class AA Championship.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Dawson County High School.
