House Resolution
187 By: Representatives Dodson of the 84th,
Post 1, Jordan of the 83rd, Barnes of the 84th, Post 2,
Buckner of the 82nd and Hill of the 81st
A RESOLUTION
Commending Daniel Cirincione; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, Daniel Cirincione of Boy Scout
Troop 909 has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest recognition
conferred by the Boy Scouts of America;
and
WHEREAS, a candidate for the Eagle Scout rank
must complete a rigorous program of training and demonstrate his proficiency in
selected scouting techniques; and
WHEREAS, few boys
reach this lofty level of achievement and Daniel has ably demonstrated the
various special skills taught through the Boy Scout program, served on the staff
at Woodruff Scout Reservation and Camp Will-O-Way, and participated in the high
adventure programs at Camps Philmont USA and Northern Tier in Canada; and
WHEREAS, this outstanding young man has truly
exhibited a commitment to the scouting principles of honesty, fairness, and
community service; and he has consistently conducted himself in a manner
becoming an Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS, it is
abundantly fitting and proper for this body to recognize the excellent
accomplishments of this very dedicated Eagle Scout from Jonesboro,
Georgia.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Daniel Cirincione
for his diligence and dedication in pursuing the highest award in the Boy Scouts
of America and congratulate him on attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout
to be awarded on March 8, 2003.
BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and
directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Daniel
Cirincione.
