A RESOLUTION
Commending the Winder-Barrow Competitive Cheerleading Team;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS, the Winder-Barrow Competitive Cheerleading Team has won the 2004 State Championship, bringing honor to the team and the community; and
WHEREAS, these young athletes have demonstrated extreme dedication, hard work, personal sacrifice, and perseverance to achieve these honors and this distinction; and
WHEREAS, Coach Jerrie Hulsey has proven to be an exceptional coach, teacher, and individual in the development of the competitive cheerleading program; and
WHEREAS, the parents and citizens of Winder and Barrow County are greatly appreciative of the accomplishments of these young athletes and their coaches; and
WHEREAS, the spirit of small-town Georgia and America has been reinforced by the shining example set by the school and community in Winder and Barrow County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the efforts of the Winder-Barrow Competitive Cheerleading Team on winning the Class AAAA state title.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Coach Jerrie Hulsey.
