A RESOLUTION
Commending Grady General Hospital; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS, Grady General Hospital in Cairo, Georgia, was named one of the Top 100 Hospitals in 2001 by the Baltimore based health data firm Solucient Modern Healthcare in recognition of its superior service; and
WHEREAS, this high ranking is due to the high quality care the hospital provides and its committed staff; and
WHEREAS, Grady General Hospital has an outstanding reputation and is entering the new millennium as a leader in reducing complications and mortality during hospital stays while controlling costs in a warm, humane environment; and
WHEREAS, the doctors, nurses, administrators, and other staff at Grady General Hospital deserve to be congratulated on this high honor and are commended for their dedication to the health of their community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body congratulate Grady General Hospital on being named a Top 100 hospital in the country and commend the hospital on its service and commitment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Grady General Hospital.
