A RESOLUTION

Recognizing Mrs. Joann Bone; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Joann Bone is a social services case manager for the Cobb County Division of Family and Children Services; and

WHEREAS, she has dutifully served the division for over 20 years as a member of the Child Protective Services Unit; and

WHEREAS, she has consistently demonstrated superior and efficacious investigative skills and techniques; and

WHEREAS, her work is held in high esteem throughout the state by law enforcement officials, members of the judiciary, her peers, and school personnel alike; and

WHEREAS, her expertise and finesse in working with law enforcement agencies, through joint departmental cooperation, often has the effect of making difficult cases go smoothly; and

WHEREAS, she is a team player and is always willing to lend a helping hand to her fellow coworkers and the public; and

WHEREAS, in going above and beyond the call of duty, she has become a role model for those serving in the Division of Family and Children Services and shown herself to be a problem solver; and

WHEREAS, for her uncommon level of commitment to her work and insistence on giving her absolute best effort on every case, Mrs. Bone has proven herself to be a true asset to the Division of Family and Children Services, Cobb County, and the State of Georgia.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend Mrs. Joann Bone for dedication and service to Cobb County, its families, and this state.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mrs. Joann Bone.
