RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Natasha F. Cooksey for outstanding contributions to public
education in the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Natasha F. Cooksey followed in the footsteps of a family of educators and has
been a teacher for five years; and
WHEREAS,
Ms. Cooksey is truly a born educator who inspires her students to believe in
themselves by encouraging their creativity and helping them to build the skills
they need to achieve their dreams; and
WHEREAS,
Ms. Cooksey's talent as a teacher is most evident in the fond regard of her
fellow teachers, superiors, parents, and especially her students;
and
WHEREAS,
in recognition of her superior achievements and dedication, Ms. Cooksey has been
recognized as a Wayne County School Teacher of the Year for 2004-2005;
and
WHEREAS,
Ms. Cooksey stands as a shining example of the important impact that the efforts
of individual classroom teachers are making on the quality of education received
by the children of this state and it is abundantly fitting and proper that her
superlative accomplishments be recognized appropriately.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body heartily and gratefully commend Ms. Natasha F. Cooksey for her
sacrifice, foresight, accomplishment, and contributions on behalf of education
in Georgia and for the positive influence she has had upon the lives and futures
of so many young people in this state.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ms. Natasha
F. Cooksey.
