RESOLUTION
Recognizing
The Gary Brand Company and Gary Brand; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Gary Brand, owner of The Gary Brand Company, was given the 2005 Helen V. Head
Small Business Advocate of the Year award by the Savannah Area Chamber of
Commerce; and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable citizen has established a glowing reputation renowned throughout
Southeast Georgia for his ability to advocate for changes in the industry and
accommodate customer demand, while continuing to meet the diversified needs of
customers with friendly, professional, and quality service; and
WHEREAS,
Gary Brand is actively involved in his community and is the embodiment of what
it means to be a Small Business Advocate of the Year; and
WHEREAS,
the success of the State of Georgia, the strength of our communities, and the
overall vitality of American society depend in great measure upon the dedication
of businesses and business people like The Gary Brand Company and Gary Brand who
use their considerable talents and resources to serve the needs of the people;
and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
amazing company and Gary Brand be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that this body
recognizes The Gary Brand Company and Gary Brand for their valuable service and
contributions to their local economy, communities, and fellow
businesses.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to The Gary
Brand Company and Gary Brand.
