House Resolution 1519

A RESOLUTION

Commending Coach Todd Hosch; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Coach Todd Hosch is widely recognized throughout Gwinnett County as the personification of excellence in recreational athletics; and

WHEREAS, this highly respected coach of the 11 Year Old Buford Wolves led his team to become the 2005 Gwinnett Football League County Champions by creating a positive environment in which he encourages healthy, competitive instincts and instills the values and honorable characteristics of hard work, dedication, and integrity; and

WHEREAS, he provided a strong foundation for each of his players, insisting that they support and respect each other as a family; and

WHEREAS, Todd Hosch in his role as a coach acts as an instrument of inspiration and enthusiasm to his players, giving unselfishly of his time and going the extra mile to make sure his team members have the tools they need to participate successfully, including transporting them to and from games and practice when necessary; and

WHEREAS, he insists that his players work just as hard at academics as they do on the playing field; and

WHEREAS, Coach Hosch believes that the point is for the boys to have fun and to enjoy themselves while learning important lessons about life as well as the game of football; and

WHEREAS, the defending Gwinnett County Football League Champion 11 Year Old Buford Wolves defeated the Brookwood Broncos on November 17, 2005, to secure their second consecutive county championship.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body heartily and gratefully commend Coach Todd Hosch for his sacrifice, foresight, accomplishment, and contributions on behalf of recreational athletics in Gwinnett County and for the positive influence he has had upon the lives and futures of young people in this state.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Coach Todd Hosch.
