RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Coach Paul Gilbert for his outstanding contribution to education;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Coach Paul Gilbert coaches the Gainesville High School Boys Tennis Team;
and
WHEREAS,
Coach Gilbert led the Red Elephants to the Region 7-AAA championship and to
their first Class AAA state finals in school history; and
WHEREAS,
Coach Gilbert is an educator of great ability and talent who fosters integrity,
self-confidence, sportsmanship, and teamwork among his student athletes;
and
WHEREAS,
as a result of these many contributions and achievements, Coach Gilbert was
named The
Times' 2004 Boys Tennis Coach of the Year;
and
WHEREAS,
Coach Gilbert's exemplary leadership and dedication to the education and
development of these young athletes merits the highest
commendation.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join in recognizing and commending Coach Paul Gilbert for his hard
work and commitment to the students of Gainesville High School and its boys
tennis team.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Coach Paul
Gilbert.
