RESOLUTION
Remembering
and honoring the life of Rudolph Clark; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. Rudolph Clark served as a District Supervisor for more than five decades,
first with the Upper Chattahoochee River Soil & Water Conservation District
and then as the original chairman of the Hall County Soil & Water
Conservation District, which was organized under his leadership;
and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Clark was a pioneer within the agricultural community who was highly
respected as an innovative and successful poultry producer and dairyman;
and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Clark was among the first to build chicken houses and helped to found
numerous organizations that serve the farming community including the Georgia
Milk Producers Association, the Hall County Farm Bureau, and the local Farmers
Mutual Exchange; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Clark leaves behind a wealth of loving friends and family who will remember
him for his kindness, strength of character, and untiring dedication to his
community and the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia lost a most estimable citizen and public servant with the
passing of Mr. Rudolph Clark.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join together to express their deepest regret at the passing of Mr.
Rudolph Clark and extend their most sincere condolences to his
family.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of
Mr. Rudolph Clark.
