A RESOLUTION

Recognizing and commending Rien Norman; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Rien Norman has served the Georgia General Assembly with diligence and dedication; and

WHEREAS, during the 2006 regular session, Mr. Norman provided conscientious and excellent support for the Georgia House of Representatives, serving as the intern for the Committee on Public Safety, the Committee on State Institutions and Property, and the Committee on Interstate Cooperation; and

WHEREAS, Rien Norman is a native of College Park, Georgia, and a hard-working college student attending the University of West Georgia; and

WHEREAS, he served with distinction, attending every meeting and remaining alert and attentive no matter how long the meeting lingered on; and

WHEREAS, Rien Norman is a true joy to work with as he is quick to bring a smile and friendly disposition to all that he does, and his positive outlook was an inspiration to those serving on the committees; and

WHEREAS, in his role as an intern he consistently demonstrated superior ability, leadership, reliability, and a dedicated commitment to serving the citizens of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, Rien Norman has brought great honor to his family, school, and community with his outstanding performance at the 2006 regular session of the Georgia General Assembly; and

WHEREAS, Rein Norman is an outstanding example and role model for the young people of this state and empowers others around him by his example of courage, hard work, and success, and it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this amazing young man be appropriately recognized.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Rien Norman for his dedicated and diligent service and extend to him their best wishes for his continued success and happiness in his future endeavors.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Rien Norman.
