RESOLUTION
Congratulating
the Henry County High School wrestling team on winning the 4AAAA State Dual
Championship; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Henry County High School "Warhawks" wrestling team won the 2005 4AAAA State
Dual Championship after winning all four dual meets and going undefeated for the
entire tournament; and
WHEREAS,
the team was guided to victory by the able leadership of Head Coach Marty
Hutsell and Assistant Coaches Michael Pesce, Doug Hutsell, Bruce Towson, and
Mackenzie Daniel; and
WHEREAS,
the talented athletes comprising the Henry County High School wrestling team
are: Brett Kempton, Jonathon Parker, Evan Warrington, Robby Epperson, Drew
Yarborough, Justin Hawkins, Jeremy Canter, Johnny Carman, Michael Elston, Tim
Valcek, Tyler Faulkner, Walker Daniel, and Jake Womack; and
WHEREAS,
this triumph is the first state championship for this remarkable team, who
enjoyed an overall record of 35-4; and
WHEREAS,
thanks to the hard work and perseverance of all the wrestlers and coaches, the
Henry County High School wrestling team has brought great honor to its school
and community.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join in congratulating the Henry County High School wrestling team on
winning the 4AAAA State Dual Championship.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit appropriate copies of this resolution to the
above-named coaches and wrestlers of the Henry County High School wrestling
team.
