A
RESOLUTION
Commending
Jordan C. Brummett on his service as a local legislation aide; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the members of this body have been very fortunate to have had the exceptional
service of Jordan C. Brummett, whose work as a local legislation aide has been
marked by his devotion to serving the State of Georgia and his constant
commitment to the highest standards of excellence; and
WHEREAS,
this accomplished young man is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor
of Arts in criminology; and
WHEREAS,
as a local legislation aide, Mr. Brummett has been responsible for processing
over 275 House and Senate local bills during the 2006 regular session, duties
that he has consistently carried out with the utmost care and professionalism;
and
WHEREAS,
his significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable patience
and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of the
members of the General Assembly have earned him the respect and admiration of
his colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS,
Mr.
Brummett́s
hard work and dedication have been an enormous asset to Georgians everywhere,
and all the members of the General Assembly greatly appreciate the invaluable
service of aides such as he who enable their business to run smoothly and
successfully.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join to commend Jordan C. Brummett on his outstanding service as a
local legislation aide and extend to him their best wishes for the greatest
success and happiness in all his future
endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Jordan C. Brummett.
