RESOLUTION
Commending
the Clinch County High School Panthers football team; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Clinch County Panthers football team recently completed an outstanding 2004
season; and
WHEREAS,
on December 3, 2004, the Clinch County Panthers tied the Red Devils to become
state Class A football co-champions; and
WHEREAS,
the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the superior
athletic ability, the commitment and hard work, and the unity and focus of each
member of the team; their outstanding offensive and defensive talents; and the
unmatched leadership of their beloved head coach, the courageous Jim Dickerson,
and his staff; and
WHEREAS,
the Clinch County Panthers have proven to their opponents, fans, and state that
they are a true champion football team.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend the Clinch County High School Panthers football team for its
unparalleled successes on the football field and extend their sincerest best
wishes for continued success in the future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the team and
to Coach Jim Dickerson.
