RESOLUTION
Commending
Bonnie Johnson; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Bonnie Johnson has long been recognized by the citizens of Cornelia and Banks
County for the vital role that she has played in leadership and her deep
personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
she has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her time,
talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as
evidenced dramatically by her many years of superlative service as president of
the Banks County Chamber of Commerce and president of the Banks County
Convention and Visitors Bureau; and
WHEREAS,
her significant organizational and leadership talents, her remarkable patience
and diplomacy, her keen sense of vision, and her sensitivity to the needs of the
citizens of her community have earned her the respect and admiration of her
colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS,
she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Bonnie Johnson for her many years of efficient, effective,
unselfish, and dedicated public service and extend to her their most sincere
best wishes for continued health and happiness.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House is authorized and directed to
transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Bonnie Johnson.
