A RESOLUTION

Remembering and honoring the life of Helen Richards Whittle Katz; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Helen Richards Whittle Katz established the Golden Rule Law of Life Character Awards Program and the Katz-Ray & Helen Whittle, Jr. Memorial Foundation to honor the memory of her beloved family members; and

WHEREAS, through her foundation, she has imparted the importance of the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. For what you do to others will surely return to you," to generations of Glynn County school children; and

WHEREAS, throughout her lifetime, Mrs. Katz demonstrated the utmost dedication to her community and her fellow citizens, serving as a Cub Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, and board member of the Salvation Army and the Boys and Girls Club of Glynn County; and

WHEREAS, this graceful, distinguished, and educated lady used her many talents and great strength of character to inspire the highest moral integrity and enrich the lives of all who had the privilege to know her; and

WHEREAS, because of the example she made of her life, this world is a better place in which to live, and the State of Georgia and the Glynn County community have lost a most estimable citizen with the passing of Mrs. Helen Richards Whittle Katz.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body join together to express their deepest regret at the passing of Mrs. Helen Richards Whittle Katz and extend their most sincere condolences to her family.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of Mrs. Helen Richards Whittle Katz.
