A
RESOLUTION
Remembering
and honoring the life of Eudella N. Glenn; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Eudella Nealy Glenn was born on April 19, 1920, in Buena Vista, Georgia, the
beloved daughter of Henry and Hattie Nealy; and
WHEREAS,
she grew up and attended public schools in Schley and Marion County with her
brother Euless; and
WHEREAS,
she came from a strong Christian background and was baptized into the Christian
faith at an early age; and
WHEREAS,
she was united in marriage to Mr. John Kay Murray, Jr., until his passing and
together they raised three children: Revonia, Henry Lewis, and Nathanael;
and
WHEREAS,
later in life she married Mr. Reuben Glenn and they spent many happy years
together building a home; and
WHEREAS,
she was a faithful and active member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist
Church where she sang in the choir; and
WHEREAS,
she retired after 30 years of employment with Scripto of Atlanta;
and
WHEREAS,
throughout her life she worked and lived with dedication, conviction, and a
passionate desire to help others, and in return she was showered with undying
love and respect.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body join together to remember and honor the life of Eudella N. Glenn and
to express their most sincere condolences to her
family.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the children of Eudella N. Glenn.
