BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Chapter 1 of Title 2 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to agriculture in general, so as to repeal Code Section 2-1-3, relating to
Sunday sales of farm products, plants, and seed; to provide for related matters;
to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Chapter
1 of Title 2 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to agriculture
in general, is amended by repealing and reserving Code Section 2-1-3, relating
to Sunday sales of farm products, plants, and seed, as follows:
"2-1-3.
Reserved.
It shall be
lawful to sell or offer for sale perishable farm products, growing plants, and
perishable seed on
Sunday."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
