RESOLUTION
Commending
and congratulating DeVante Griffin on winning the wrestling Class AAA State
Championship; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
DeVante Griffin of Columbus High School has proven himself to be one of
Georgia's most outstanding wrestlers as state Class AAA champion of the 189
pound category; and
WHEREAS,
this impressive victory is the culmination of months of hard work, perseverance,
and tireless pursuit of the highest standards of excellence, bolstered by the
invaluable support of his coaches and teammates; and
WHEREAS,
friends and competitors alike marvel at this remarkable young man's
determination, resilience, and extraordinary athletic prowess; and
WHEREAS,
in capturing this prestigious title, DeVante Griffin has brought great honor to
his family, school, and community.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join in
commending DeVante Griffin on his exceptional athletic accomplishments and
congratulate him on winning the wrestling Class AAA State
Championship.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to DeVante Griffin.
