RESOLUTION
Commending
Jeffrey Kyle Robinson on becoming an Eagle Scout; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Jeffrey Kyle Robinson has earned the rank of Eagle Scout; and
WHEREAS,
since 1911, the Eagle Scout Award has been the symbol of the highest and most
prestigious achievement among the Boy Scouts of America; and
WHEREAS,
the attainment of Eagle Scout rank indicates that a Scout has developed
leadership ability, self-confidence, mature judgment, and mental and physical
capabilities that will be of immense benefit throughout life; and
WHEREAS,
Jeffrey Kyle Robinson has amply demonstrated to his Scout leaders and peers that
he possesses these qualities along with sterling character; and
WHEREAS,
he has also maintained an excellent academic record, has been an outstanding
member of his high school football team, and has provided leadership to young
children at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church through the Team Kid program;
and
WHEREAS,
in achieving Eagle Scout status, Jeffrey Kyle Robinson has brought honor not
only to himself but also to his family and troop.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize
and commend Jeffrey Kyle Robinson for his diligence and dedication in pursuing
the highest honor awarded by the Boy Scouts of America and congratulate him on
attaining the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Eagle Scout Jeffrey Kyle
Robinson.
