A
RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Jwaltney Daniels, Winner of the Future Farmers of America
National Proficiency Award for Landscape Design and Management; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
at the 77th National FFA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky, Mr. Jwaltney
Daniels competed in the FFA Proficiency Awards competition; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Daniels brought great honor and credit to his school and the State of
Georgia, receiving the national award for Landscape Design and Management;
and
WHEREAS,
in the ninth grade, Mr. Daniels began his own highly successful lawn care
service, which he has expanded to offer landscape design services to his
clients; and
WHEREAS,
as a result of his hard work and dedication, Mr. Daniels was given the
opportunity to attend the Governor's Honors Program in Executive Management, was
named the South Region Star in Agribusiness, and won a trip to Costa Rica with
the FFA International Seminar program; and
WHEREAS,
his achievements truly demonstrate the FFA motto, "Learning to Do, Doing to
Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve," and set a fine example for all those
students who will participate in this outstanding FFA chapter in the years to
come.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join in
recognizing and commending Jwaltney Daniels, Winner of the FFA National
Proficiency Award for Landscape Design and Management and anticipate a promising
future of this outstanding young man.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Jwaltney Daniels.
