RESOLUTION
Expressing
regret at the passing of Anna Kipp; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
on December 18, 2005, the State of Georgia lost one of its finest and most
outstanding citizens with the passing of Anna Kipp; and
WHEREAS,
this exceptional individual was known for her outgoing personality and as a
fierce competitor on the volleyball court and in the swimming pool;
and
WHEREAS,
her unparalleled leadership talents, her remarkable kindness, her keen sense of
vision, and her acute sensitivity to the needs of her friends and fellow
students at the Darlington School earned her the respect and admiration of all
who knew her; and
WHEREAS,
the passing of this generous, kind, and devoted young lady leaves an unfillable
void in the hearts and lives of her family and friends.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body express
their deepest and most sincere regret at the passing of Anna Kipp.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of Anna Kipp.
