RESOLUTION
Celebrating
the birth and the christening of Lily Anne Carras; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
on Thursday, January 20, 2005, Gregg and Michelle Carras of Cherokee County
became the proud parents of a baby girl, Lily Anne Carras; and
WHEREAS,
Lily Anne Carras will be christened at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in
Alpharetta; and
WHEREAS,
Gregg and Michelle Carras are already the proud parents of a promising son,
Logan Carras; and
WHEREAS,
Gregg and Michelle Carras are distinguished citizens of Georgia and proud alumni
of the University of Georgia, and Michelle Carras has served as a public school
teacher in Forsyth County; and
WHEREAS,
the birth and christening of their new baby daughter bring joy to all who are
privileged to know them; and
WHEREAS,
it is fitting that this body express its sentiments on this happy
occasion.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body congratulates Gregg and
Michelle Carras on the birth and christening of their new baby daughter, Lily
Anne Carras, and wishes a long and happy life for this new Georgian and her
family.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the proud parents of Lily
Anne Carras.
