RESOLUTION
Honoring
the memory of Johnny Michael Mincey and expressing regret at his passing; and
for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
news of the passing of Johnny Michael Mincey, late of Gainesville, Georgia, is
received with deep regret by this body; and
WHEREAS,
the life led by this distinguished gentleman of 58 years rendered his name dear
to the hearts of his family and many friends; and
WHEREAS,
Johnny Michael Mincey, son of the late Artice Mincey and Ollie Mae Wilbanks
Mincey, was born and lived his entire life in Hall County, Georgia;
and
WHEREAS,
he was an honest and dedicated man who strived for excellence in all his
endeavors as evidenced dramatically by his business success as the owner and
operator of Mincey Grading Company before becoming employed with America´s
Home Builders Place for 27 years; and
WHEREAS,
this most esteemed gentlemen loved to restore and show classic cars, a talent
for which he was awarded many trophies; and
WHEREAS,
this outdoorsman was an avid hunter and nature lover; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Mincey leaves behind a loving and devoted family, including his wife,
Dianne Butterworth Mincey, and his daughter, Sabrina Mincey; and
WHEREAS,
in life he commanded the esteem of his fellow Georgians, at his death we offer
our sympathies to his family and friends in their time of grief.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body honor the memory of Johnny Michael Mincey and express their regret at
his passing.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of
Johnny Michael Mincey.
