RESOLUTION
Commending
the House temporary employees for the 2008 Regular Session; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
every year, the success of the regular legislative session of the General
Assembly depends on the hard work and dedication of the gifted men and women who
come to work in the capitol during this hectic time; and
WHEREAS,
temporary employees of the House of Representatives faithfully serve in a
variety of capacities and often work long hours to ensure that the vital
business of this body is carried out to completion; and
WHEREAS,
in providing such invaluable assistance to the state's lawmakers, the service of
these fantastic employees is a key asset not just to the members of the House,
but to all the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
the members of the standing committees and legislative leaders benefited greatly
from the service of these outstanding individuals who have worked during the
2008 Regular Session and salute each one of them on a job well done: J. Keke
Andrews, Margie Bass, Jacinth Bryant, Tonya Cooper, Andre Fulton, Brian McCrary,
Kammaria Orie, Quynh Huong Le (Cristy) Pham, Evan Porter, Joyce Randall, Antonio
Roberts, Stephanie Sherrer, Jackie Tucker, and Denisha Wise.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that this body
commends the temporary employees of the House for the 2008 Regular Session on
their superb performance and thanks them for contributing their time and talent
to making this session run smoothly and successfully.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to each of the
individuals named herein.
