RESOLUTION
Commending
Paul and Edna Jennings on the occasion of their fiftieth wedding anniversary;
and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Paul and Edna Jennings have long been regarded as one of the most renowned
couples in their community through their active involvement in the economic,
social, civic, and religious life of DeKalb County; and
WHEREAS,
this loving couple was joined in holy wedlock on April 13, 1957;
and
WHEREAS,
they stand as a proud and shining example of enduring love and affection and
have seen their family grow and flourish; and
WHEREAS,
Paul served with unparalleled ability as a member of the House of
Representatives for many terms and faithfully represented the citizens of DeKalb
County; and
WHEREAS,
the devotion, patience, and understanding that they have demonstrated have
provided the foundation and framework of success in which all of their family
members have developed and flourished; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the selfless deeds and loving devotion
of this remarkable couple be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Paul and Edna Jennings for their many decades of unyielding
strength and unparalleled inspiration on behalf of all of their family,
congratulate them upon the joyous occasion of their fiftieth wedding
anniversary, and extend to them best wishes for continued health and
happiness.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House is authorized and directed to
transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Paul and Edna Jennings.
