RESOLUTION
Recognizing
the North Hall High School Cross Country Team, the 2006 Class AAA State
Champions; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
through perseverance and iron determination, the 2006 North Hall High School
Cross Country team achieved the titles of Hall County Champions and Mountaineer
Invitational Champions as well as Region 7 AAA Champions; and
WHEREAS,
the North Hall High School Cross Country Team became the 2006 Class AAA State
Champions, an event that marked North Hall's first team state championship title
in cross country; and
WHEREAS,
these victories were the culmination of a season of hard work and exceptional
teamwork by the following young athletes: Nolan Clark, Bert Harrison, Brian
Jimenez, Johnny Jimenez, Nick Long, Chris Nish, and Grant Russell; and
WHEREAS,
these young men were groomed for excellence under the observance and tutelage of
Coaches Jean Foster, Danny Thomas, and Jane Harrison; and
WHEREAS,
the Hall County community and the State of Georgia take great pride in the
accomplishments of these fine young champions.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that this body
recognizes and commends the 2006 Class AAA State Champion North Hall High School
Cross Country Team for their outstanding performance.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to North Hall
High School.
