RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mr. David Britt II; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. David Britt II has been selected by Ebony Magazine as one of its "Top 30
Leaders under 30"; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Britt presently serves as an administrative technician with the Muscogee
County Tax Commissioner's Office, as a local air personality at Davis
Broadcasting, and as a realtor with Caldwell Bankers; and
WHEREAS,
in addition to these jobs, he is actively involved in his community;
and
WHEREAS,
he loves working with and helping people, volunteering with Mother Mary Catholic
School, the March of Dimes, Project Rebound, Inc., Hip Hop's Coalition, and
United Way; and
WHEREAS,
he attends New Birth Outreach Church, and as for hobbies, he enjoys sports,
music, art, and traveling; and
WHEREAS,
he is the son of the proud parents, Mr. David Britt, Sr., and Ms. Mae Banks, and
he is the loving brother of Keeliah, Crystal, and John; and
WHEREAS,
his motto is "live, have faith, and work hard"; it is only fitting and proper
that we recognize the outstanding accomplishments of Mr. David Britt
II.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize
Mr. David Britt II and commend him for his numerous contributions to his
community and the state.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. David Britt II.
