RESOLUTION
Recognizing
Pat Snipes for her outstanding leadership in Cherokee County; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Pat Snipes is the founder and Executive Director of The Vibrant Health
Association (VHA), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting
holistic health awareness; and
WHEREAS,
VHA delivers its message through public education on nutrition and lifestyle
choices, promoting what it calls a "vibrant" attitude towards living, an
attitude committed to
a high quantity as well as quality of life with optimal health in all its aspects, physical, emotional, and spiritual; and

WHEREAS,
the VHA Presentation Team visits churches, schools, offices, to PTAs and other
groups to share information on ways to reduce toxins and stress as well as to
lessen one's risk for diseases; and
WHEREAS,
Pat Snipes is one of the early members of the Live Healthy Cherokee Coalition, a
group of professionals whose mission is to focus on disease prevention through
education; and
WHEREAS,
she is also a member of Together We Rise, a networking tool for African American
women in business committed to the principles of unity and giving;
and
WHEREAS,
her inspirational motivation and leadership merit the highest of
praise.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body heartily commend Pat Snipes for her diligent and compassionate service to her community and to the State of Georgia.
