RESOLUTION
Commending
the Bremen High School Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Squad; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Bremen High School Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Squad placed first for
Class A at the Georgia High School Association sanctioned state competition;
and
WHEREAS,
these outstanding young women demonstrated considerable talent, discipline,
coordination, and teamwork throughout the season, and their cheerleading
routines and formations reflect their tremendous creativity, wonderful spirit,
and powerful athleticism; and
WHEREAS,
the squad´s performance during the state competition clearly showed the
extensive training, development, and direction these cheerleaders received from
Coaches Deborah Clark, Brandon Glenn, and Sue Marmann; and
WHEREAS,
the roster of the Bremen High School Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Squad for
the first place Class A squad includes Abby Barboza, Susie Barrett, Chelsie
Brock, Holly Clayton, Ashton Garner, Bailey Gee, Christy Gladney, Celea Henson,
Melody Hurston, Kylie Lee, Katie Marmann, Mary Beth Morgan, Dani Robinson, Lacie
Smith, Shelby Sprayberry, Chelsie Wilson, and Megan Wright and they will surely
treasure their accomplishments and memories forever.
WHEREAS,
these outstanding young athletes have brought great honor to the team, school,
and community.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
the Bremen High School Varsity Competitive Cheerleading Squad for its inspiring
performance and express their heartiest congratulations to these very capable
young women and their coaches.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit appropriate copies of this resolution to the squad and to Coaches
Deborah Clark, Brandon Glenn, and Sue
Marmann.
