RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and congratulating Mr. Troy Martin and Mrs. Bridget Martin upon the occasion of
the opening of their new beauty salon; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. and Mrs. Troy Martin joined thousands of Georgia entrepreneurs when they
opened their new beauty salon; and
WHEREAS,
their business will enhance the economy in Columbus, Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
A Touch of Excellence beauty salon opened its doors the public with a grand
opening celebration on Saturday, January 12, 2008; and
WHEREAS,
guests and customers enjoyed colorful balloons and a bevy of refreshments,
including a grand opening cake complete with hair rollers, dryers, combs,
brushes, and other salon items; and
WHEREAS,
every guest was presented with a gift on opening day; and
WHEREAS,
the Martin´s new business is located at 4603 Hamilton Road, Columbus,
Georgia.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body hereby
congratulate Mr. Troy Martin and Mrs. Bridget Martin on their new beauty salon
business and extend to them their sincere best wishes for prosperity and
success.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Troy Martin and Mrs.
Bridget Martin.
