Senator Hawkins of the 49th offered the following amendment:
Amend
SB 363 by striking all matter on lines 13 through 18 of page 1 and inserting in
place thereof the following:
(1)
'Accredited dental college' and 'accredited dental school' or 'accredited school
of dentistry' mean a dental school, college, or university
with an
education program accredited by the
Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association or its
successor agency.
By
restoring the word
"or"
on line 7 of page
4.
By
striking all matter on lines 12 through 15 of page 4 and inserting in place
thereof the following:
(iii)
Successful completion of at least two one-year advanced dental education
programs in general dentistry at an accredited dental school or college approved
by the board; or
(iv)
Successful completion of a one-year program in operative dentistry at a dental
school or college approved by the board and a one-year advanced dental education
program in general dentistry at an accredited dental school or college approved
by the board; and
