Amend
SB 437 (LC 34 1487) by adding after "so
as" on line 5 of page
1 the following:
to
require the commissioner to issue certificates of title to certain
motorcycles;
By
inserting between lines 18 and 19 of page 1 the following:
SECTION
1.1.
Article
2 of Chapter 3 of Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to certificates of title for motor vehicles, is amended by adding a new Code
section to read as follows:
"40-3-25.1.
The
commissioner or the commissioner´s duly appointed county tag agent shall
issue an appropriate certificate of title to a motorcycle that has two vehicle
identification numbers placed on such motorcycle by the manufacturer of origin
if neither of the vehicle identification numbers has been identified as
belonging to a stolen or previously titled motorcycle. The certificate shall be
issued under the most recent vehicle identification number."
By
deleting lines 20 and 21 of page 1 and inserting in lieu thereof the
following:
