A
RESOLUTION
Calling
a joint session of the House of Representatives and Senate; providing for other
matters relative to the inauguration of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor;
and for other purposes.
BE
IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA that the House of Representatives
and Senate meet in joint session at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 8, 2007, at
Philips Arena for the purpose of inaugurating Honorable Sonny Perdue as Governor
and Honorable Casey Cagle as Lieutenant Governor.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a committee of fourteen, seven from the House to be
named by the presiding officer of the House and seven from the Senate to be
named by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, be appointed to escort the
Governor-elect and the Lieutenant Governor-elect to the inauguration.
