A
RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Willie R. and Nancy W. Wright on the occasion of their 50th
wedding anniversary; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Willie R. and Nancy W. Wright have been united in love and marriage for 50
years; and
WHEREAS,
this loving couple has been blessed with two loving and thoughtful children,
Carol W. Bragg and Debra W. Spires; and
WHEREAS,
a great source of pride and joy, the Wrights also have four grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS,
a couple with great faith and devotion, the Wrights are active members at Union
Primitive Baptist Church in Wheeler County, Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Wright served as a brave guardian of this nation's freedom and liberty in
the United States Air Force before going to work with Farm Service Agency,
retiring as Director of the Wheeler County Farm Service Agency office;
and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Wright diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of her
time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state as
evidenced dramatically by her superlative service with the community action
agency, Headstart; and
WHEREAS,
it is fitting that the Wrights be congratulated on their many years of happiness
and their strong commitment to each other for over 50 years.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body join in
congratulating Willie R. and Nancy W. Wright on their 50th wedding anniversary
and extend their sincere best wishes for many more happy years
together.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. and Mrs. Wright.
