RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mrs. Judy Smith on the occasion of her retirement; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Judy Smith has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of
her time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of her community and state
as evidenced dramatically by her superlative service during over 30 years as
Marion County Tax Commissioner; and
WHEREAS,
Mrs. Smith is an honest, dedicated, and exemplary public servant who strives for
excellence in all her endeavors and is committed to the betterment of the State
of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
she is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness, and it is abundantly fitting
and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this remarkable and
distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia is honored to have such a motivated and hard-working
individual as one of its citizens.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Mrs. Judy Smith for her selfless dedication as a public servant and her
commitment to her community and the State of Georgia; and congratulate her on
over 30 years of superlative service as Marion County Tax
Commissioner.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mrs. Judy Smith.
