RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Beulah M. O'Neal for outstanding contributions to public
education in the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Beulah M. O'Neal is a highly respected educator in the DeKalb County School
System; and
WHEREAS,
the contributions and achievements of this distinguished educator have been
recognized by the DeKalb County School System's selection of the Teacher of the
Year for Rowland Elementary School; and
WHEREAS,
nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young
people and Beulah M. O'Neal exemplifies the selfless dedication which is
characteristic of our finest educators; and
WHEREAS,
the devotion to challenging and inspiring the future leaders of Georgia
demonstrated by Beulah M. O'Neal is worthy of recognition.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body hereby recognizes and
commends Beulah M. O'Neal, Teacher of the Year for Rowland Elementary School and
expresses its gratitude for the great credit this outstanding educator reflects
upon the DeKalb County School System and the State of Georgia.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Beulah M. O'Neal.
