
Representative Mark Hamilton

HD 23 (R - Cumming)
Representative Mark Hamilton was elected to his first term in the Georgia House of Representatives in 2006 and is currently serving in his 2nd term. He serves on the Transportation, Industrial Relations, Governmental Affairs, and Children and Youth committees. He is also Chairman of the Employment Security & Unemployment Insurance sub-committee, Vice-Chair of the Special Sub-Committee on Transportation Funding and serves on the House GOP Caucus Policy Committee.
Mark is the Founder, President & CEO of H & H Staffing Services, Inc., a staffing firm serving business throughout North Georgia, and AppliedWisdom LLC, an executive coaching and consulting firm.
Mark is also very active in his community where he currently serves as a member on the Lanier Technical College Board of Trustees. He is also a member and Past-Chairman of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, a Past-President of the South Forsyth Rotary Club, a past member of the Board of Directors of the Regional Business Coalition, a past Chairman of the Forsyth County American Heart Association Walk, and a past member of the Board of Directors of the Cumming Care Center (now Whispering Hope). Mark is also a graduate and active alumnus of Leadership Forsyth.
Mark, an Engineering Business graduate of Texas A & I University, is the proud father of three daughters and two grandsons. He and his wife Sandy live in Forsyth County. The Hamiltons are active members of First Baptist Church of Cumming. Mark is also a member of "Friday A.M.", a businessmen's bible study group, and “Businessmen Committed to World Evangelism,” a businessmen’s group that seek to share Christ throughout the world through business leadership programs.
